Dedication

This year we will be dedicating the Valley Girls Ride to our dear friend and teammate, Teryl Kellar. 

Teryl was an amazing woman who inspired all those she touched in her life.  Those who were fortunate to know her knew of her amazing courage and strength, love of family as well as her unwavering faith and love for God. 

Oh, how Teryl loved to ride her bike with her friends in both Parker’s Team and WOW. When Teryl first started cycling, her doctors were thrilled, in fact one said “whatever you are doing, keep doing it”; and she loved it. Later, when Teryl wasn’t able to ride any longer, she continued to stay involved by sagging or helping at our rest stops.  Teryl’s love and concern for others far surpassed her own issues and if you asked her how she was doing, she would give you that smile and just say “great”.

Teryl lost her battle with breast cancer in February 2012 and we will truly miss our dear friend.
